Katie Price says her feet are ‘mangled’ as she opens up on ‘life changing’ injuries

The 42 year old former model told fans her feet are “mangled” as she visited Chelsea and Westminster hospital for a six hour long operation on her two broken feet.

In a clip posted to her YouTube channel, a doctor speaks to mum of five Katie before her surgery.

He says: “This is a life changing injury. You properly smashed up both [feet] like, properly.”Then, after changing into her hospital gown before the surgery, Katie tells the camera: “I just spoke to my mum and told her the news again that the surgeon made it clear that I’ve done, as the say, a good job as in I couldn’t have done a worse job to myself – they’re smashed, broken, it’s really bad, life changing injuries I’ve done. So they’re just gonna do their best.”

Following her surgery Katie, who broke her feet while on holiday in Turkey, showed her feet had been bandaged up again.

Giving an update on her injuries she says: “So, the registrar guy came in and broke the news to me that unfortunately, when they got inside – because they wanted to do keyhole surgery – when they went inside they were more smashed up and mangled than the X-ray in the way that, because it was three weeks ago I did it, it’s like they’ve started… not healing… but, yeah, healing basically.

"So it made their job harder. Cut the long story short, I’m waffling on because I’ve had anaesthetic so I’m just talking, talking.“I’ve got these massive scars on my feet. Do I care? No, because I couldstart walking again. They said it would be two years before I walk absolutely properly.

“But, the journey begins when I come out of the casts which will be three months or six months – I’m confused so I don’t know. Anyway, I’ve had the op, I’ve got all the scars there.

“I’m not agitated, I’m just very, just tired and whatever. And I’m anxious because I’ve gotta do an injection and I hate injections.”

Showing a needle up to the camera, she says: “These are blood thinners and I believe everyone who has a break or something has these.“I’ve gotta have them for I don’t know how long but I will find out before I leave. Carl said he’d do it for me, but I reckon they’ll just go,” she then blows a raspberry and says: “I can't do it... I have to do it myself so it looks more painful.”

After injecting herself, a determined Katie then says: “I don’t care where the scar is, I’m gonna learn to walk again, I am gonna walk again and the registrar said I would definitely horse ride, definitely be able to run. So I am on a chicken winner dinner, in a b****y good mood!

“I’m so happy, I’ve spoken to my mum, I’ve spoke to my kids. My mum was upset when I basically told her before I went down how bad it is.

“But, anyway, she was messaging Carl all the way through, how sweet. My mum loves Carl, I love that!
