Four men stabbed in violent brawl outside central London bar
Four men were stabbed in a violent brawl outside a central London bar, police have said.Four men were stabbed in a violent brawl outside a central London bar, police have said.
The men were stabbed outside Club 29 in High Holborn in the early hours of Sunday, August 2.
Two of the victims took themselves to hospital for treatment. Officers said they found the other two in a car with its hazard lights flashing and gave them first aid until an ambulance crew took them to hospital.
One of the four men is still in hospital more than two weeks later, although police said his injuries are no longer life-threatening.
Police said they believe the fight took place at around 3am. Six men have been arrested and released on bail while the investigation continues.
Five of the men, whose ages range from 23-34, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. The other man, 22, was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

Club 29 describes itself as a "cocktail bar" as well as a "busy nightclub".
Nightclubs are still not allowed to open in England because of coronavirus social distancing rules, although pubs have been allowed to serve customers for about six weeks.
Police declined to comment on whether Club 29 was breaking any social distancing rules.
Detective Constable Stephanie Latzke said: “This was a truly shocking attack on four friends who had gone out to enjoy themselves.
“We know the nightclub was busy at the time of the incident, so I’m confident someone will have the information we need to find those responsible for this unacceptable violence.
“I also want to hear from anyone who was driving on High Holborn around the time of the attack who may have captured the fighting on dash cam.”
Police have asked anyone who has any information on the incident to call 101, quoting CAD 1760/2Aug, tweet @MetCC or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 11.
