Tamar Braxton's boyfriend seeks restraining order against her

The court has yet to approve his request. 

Tamar's famous family hasn't exactly been supportive of her relationship with David, claiming the singer has changed for the worse since getting involved with him. They're also convinced that David is helping to pull the strings (or at least trying to) in regards to her "Get Ya Life" reality TV show. 

The last several months have been tumultuous for the former "The Real" cohost. Back in July, police and medics responded after she was found unconscious at a Los Angeles hotel. In his 911 call, David said Tamar has been upset with WeTV producers about a pilot episode.

Tamar's family, however, thought it was very odd for David to talk to a dispatcher about the alleged WeTV beef during this particular moment, as Tamar was still unconscious. 

"Tamar's mood swings tend to align with how David's feeling," TMZ said recently. "They also say he's very involved in her business decisions."

David has apparently been upset with how he has been portrayed since the show began in late July.
